    1. This one is down in the Financial District, behind the Wall Street bull and in front of the Museum of the American Indian. You take the 6 train, on the green line, to Bowling Green, or, if you’re coming from the West side, you can take the 1 train on the red line down to South Ferry and walk back a block. It’s a lovely lunch-time spot! xoM

  1. It’s a very nice little park, too. And a bit of history trivia: the wrought-iron fence that surrounds the park was originally adorned with crowns on the posts. But during the Revolution they hacked off the crowns and melted down the iron so that it could be used for ammunition.
