Last week there was a lunar eclipse that was actually visible from our part of the world. Since my sweet husband is due to take some of his meds at an ungodly early hour of the morning, we decided we’d just get up and go out to see the eclipse. We took the subway down to the southern tip of Manhattan, and made a family outing adventure of it.
By the time we arrived downtown at 6:14 a.m., only a sliver of moon was still visible. It was extremely windy and keeping a steady hold of my little camera was quite the challenge. Although these pictures leave quite a bit to be desired in photographic skill and quality, they do reflect the fun we had being out together to witness one of Nature’s shows!
