I’ve lived in Harlem for ten years now.
When we first moved here, our pallor was noticeable.
Today, with the diversity of skin color, culture, language, we all blend into the vibrant community we are.
Still, it’s good to know and understand the roots of the tree we’ve been grafted on. While we’re each unique, we are always all One.
No judgment. Only understanding.
Great going there… Being united yet unique is a beautiful thing to happen to us.
YES!!! Perfect!!! I love, love, love murals like this. Imagine if we gave our “frustrated artists” who have sneak around and spray paint sides of trains and places they aren’t appreciated to express themselves blank canvasses such as walls like these to paint? Insides of buildings too! What a colorful world would manifest I think! Love to you M!
Yes! I especially love the handprints of all the little artists who created this. 😉 xoM
Awesomeness… love it!
Yeah, me, too. So lucky to be living in a city, and a neighborhood, with such a wealth of diversity! 😉 xoM
