The water level on the Hudson River seems quite low to me. To my unscientific eye, being able to see the blanket of green covering the jagged rocks along the shoreline in our neighborhood, is an indication of how much of the formerly submerged Earth is now exposed.
In the twelve years we’ve lived in this neighborhood, this is as low as I’ve seen the Hudson’s waters recede.
The Hudson is a big river. To see its mighty waters flow at such a diminished level in early Spring is alarming to me.
