Serene in the Scene

I’ve been a resident of New York City for three decades.  People often say to me that it’s a great place to visit because it is so vibrant and exciting, but they’d never want to live here because there are no trees or peace.

Welcome to my New York City, where serenity abounds – even on crowded subway cars.  Enjoy my world!

Serenely yours,

Margarita

  1. I´ve only visited NY once but I agree with what you say. Until Iw as 40 I lived in London and loved every minute…it wasn´t all hustle and bustle, there was peace and beauty too. Great blog and thanks for subscribing to mine!

    1. Thanks for visiting! I love London as well…guess I’m a city girl at heart. Mind you, I also love life out of the city! Hope you come around again! All the best, M

  2. When I win the lottery, I’m totally moving to NYC – I’d love to live there. 🙂 Thank you for visiting my blog – I’m checking out yours and am enjoying. I hope you re-visit mine, you may like the one I posted of the sunsets from yesterday. Namaste, Joie

  3. I was born in Harlem Hospital and have lived here for most of my life with a stint in the Bronx and a miserable hiatus in New Jersey. Most of these places that you photograph I know!

  4. I have been to New York once with my Mum for her 60th birthday (sshh). We had a wonderful wonderful time – I can see why you love New York. I love London for the same reasons. Peace and tranquility can be found also…

    1. It’s been a long time since I last was in London. And I loved the cheek-by-jowl of the bustle and the peace! 🙂

By the way, perfection, like your Mum, doesn’t happen overnight! 😉
