Simón Bolívar

www.coachingbytext.comTethered atop his granite perch,

El Libertador gazes into the distance.

His heart shrinks with pain at his people’s struggle

And swells with pride at their courage and persistence.

  1. I know you meant for this to be a picture of the statue, but what is that behind the trees? Is it a building? A bridge? At first I thought it was fire. It must be the way the sun is catching whatever it is.
    Have a great weekend, M.

    1. The statue stands at one of the entrances to Central Park, Lori. I’m guessing what you’re referring to is a building over on Fifth Avenue. And probably the way the light was catching it made it more prominent. Enjoy your weekend! 😉 xoxoM
