I know you meant for this to be a picture of the statue, but what is that behind the trees? Is it a building? A bridge? At first I thought it was fire. It must be the way the sun is catching whatever it is.

The statue stands at one of the entrances to Central Park, Lori. I’m guessing what you’re referring to is a building over on Fifth Avenue. And probably the way the light was catching it made it more prominent. Enjoy your weekend! 😉 xoxoM
